Soap Opera Veteran Joe Marinelli Passes Away At 68
Actor Joe Marinelli passed away at the age of 68. Born on January 21, 1957, in Meriden, Connecticut, Marinelli was a familiar face to daytime television fans, having portrayed a variety of memorable characters throughout his career.
Marinelli is perhaps best remembered for his role as Bunny Tagliatti on Santa Barbara from 1988 to 1990, where his performance as the eccentric mobster earned him a devoted fan base. He also appeared as Pauly Hardman on Guiding Light in 1993, and portrayed Joseph Sorel on General Hospital from 1999 to 2001, where he brought depth to one of Port Charles’ underworld figures.
In addition to his soap roles, Marinelli had a successful career in primetime and streaming television. He made appearances on hit shows including The Morning Show, Ray Donovan, Victorious, and many others, showcasing his talent across genres and formats.
