Soap fans, get ready to hit play! According to Deadline, Days of Our Lives scene-stealer Greg Rikaart and The Bold and the Beautiful’s Rebecca Budig are teaming up to launch a brand-new podcast called "Soapy."

The podcast, produced in partnership with CBS and Odyssey, drops its first episode Tuesday, July 8, and promises a mix of fun, nostalgia, and behind-the-scenes dish from across the soap universe.

“Hello everybody, I’m Greg Rikaart, daytime’s favorite chaotic interloper,” Rikaart says in the preview, name-dropping his iconic roles as Leo Stark (Days) and Kevin Fisher (Y&R).

Budig, a soap staple known for playing Greenlee on All My Children, Hayden on General Hospital, and currently Dr. Taylor Hayes on B&B, joins him with equal excitement:

“We are so excited for you to join us on our podcast, Soapy... We’ve spent a lot of our lives on soaps, and we’re going to talk all things soapy.”

Every week, Greg and Rebecca will chat with actors, writers, producers, and soap opera influencers to explore what makes daytime dramas so special — all with affection, respect, and plenty of humor. Guests feature legends such as Eric Braeden, Deidre Hall, Kimberlin Brown, and Marc Cherry, the creator of Desperate Housewives, among many others.
