Hunter King Returns to Screens in a Dramatic Role
Hunter King, best known to daytime viewers as Summer Newman, on The Young And The Restless, appears in the February 26 episode titled “Don Begins.” King portrays young Blythe Hart in a series of emotional flashback scenes centered around a traumatic house fire — an event that shaped the life of Don Hart and his future relationships with Dixie and Blythe.
King made her Y&R debut as Summer Newman on October 15, 2012. After a long run with several breaks, she exited full-time in August 2021 and made her final guest appearance on February 21, 2022.
Evan Hofer Joins the Episode as Well
Soap fans will also see Evan Hofer, who played Dex Heller on General Hospital. Hofer appears in the same episode as part of the unfolding narrative.
Hofer first debuted on the ABC soap as Dex on May 5/6, 2022, and made his final on-screen living appearance on December 13, 2024, when Dex was tragically killed off. His presence continued through flashbacks, photos, and corpse appearances until March 2025. He teased the appearance on Instagram, writing:
