Actor Harrison Cone has joined the cast in a role that’s being kept under wraps for now. What’s known is that Cone’s character has close ties to one of the show’s major players, and he’ll arrive in Los Angeles as an aspiring designer already in a relationship with Remy Pryce (Christian Weissmann).

Cone, whose credits include the indie features Ick and I Wish You All the Best, will make his first appearance on September 16, debuting at Forrester Creations, the fashion house that often serves as the center of B&B’s most dramatic and glamorous storylines.

This step marks an important shift for the soap, which has been on the air since 1987 but has never featured a gay male couple in a front-burner storyline. The move follows B&B’s ongoing efforts to reflect more inclusive, diverse stories while keeping its legacy of romance, betrayal, and family drama alive.
