Daphne is considering using a donor and surrogate to have a baby with Carter, but she wants it to feel personal, not like a business transaction. She wishes to choose someone they know and trust.
Carter suggests Steffy as the egg donor and surrogate, seemingly offering Daphne exactly what she wanted: someone close and trustworthy.
