Carter and Steffy must quickly decide on a cover story. They consider blaming a business disagreement, but Ridge might not believe it. Alternatively, Carter could claim he was advising Steffy to mend her marriage with Finn, using his own reconciliation with Daphne Rose Walton as an example. This explanation omits that Carter and Steffy slept together after a night of drinking. While Ridge might remain unaware of their affair for now, he could question Carter’s involvement in Steffy’s marriage and warn him to stay out of her personal affairs.

Will and Dylan Share a Special Night
