According to Soaps, both actors resumed taping on Tuesday, February 17. While specific plot details are being kept under wraps, the show teased in a press release: In the episodes, Malcolm Winters (Moore) and Dr. Stephanie Simmons’ (Fox) surprising return has shocking and lasting implications for the residents of Genoa City.

A Return Rooted in Controversial History

When Stephanie Simmons first arrived in Genoa City, she was introduced as a colleague of Dr. Olivia Winters (Tonya Lee Williams). Olivia even set Stephanie up with Malcolm, leading to a brief romance that ultimately ended when Stephanie left town.
