While Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Devon (Bryton James) are uncovering clues, Mariah is already on the move. With Dominic in tow, she loads him into the car and drives to yet another hiding place. In her unraveling mind, this is all part of an elaborate “hide-and-seek” game she believes is keeping Dominic (Ethan Ray Clark) safe.

The desperate hunt for Dominic becomes even more frightening when Abby and Devon get new information. The police provide them with a lead about a woman spotted at a nearby motel with a child who looks like Dominic. Overcome with fear, Abby and Devon hurry to the scene with the officers. Upon entering the motel room, Abby's deepest fears are realized.

Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) unite in a heated confrontation, insisting that Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) own up to her involvement in Cane’s (Billy Flynn) scheme to take over the Newman empire. Sharon vents her anger, accusing Phyllis of siding with Cane and causing turmoil at the most inopportune moment. Nick supports Sharon with the same fervor, reminding Phyllis that he cautioned her about the repercussions if she didn't back off. Yet, Phyllis remains unfazed.
