Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) decides it’s time to take responsibility for his past mistakes and attempt to make things right with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). When Lily reveals that she and the twins are free, Cane is relieved to know they’re no longer in danger. However, Lily may admit that she was never truly a hostage and was aware of Victor’s scheme all along.

Meanwhile, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) remains trapped on the yacht with Patty Williams (Stacey Haiduk). Jack has been attempting to charm Patty and earn her trust in hopes of escaping. However, Patty refuses to be easily manipulated and begins playing mind games of her own. On Friday’s episode, Patty turns the tables and sets a trap for Jack.

At the Newman ranch, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) confronts Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) about his decision to abduct Jack. Outraged, she demands Jack's release and condemns Victor's actions as despicable. Victor insists that drastic measures were necessary to protect the Newman family legacy. Nikki disagrees with his tactics and may threaten divorce if Jack is not released.
