Claire meets with party planner Pietro in the jazz lounge to plan Nikki’s birthday. Pietro suggests wild ideas, but Claire insists on elegance. Kyle supports Claire’s vision, reminding him it’s his chance to impress Victor.

At GCAC, Nick reassures Victor of his loyalty after Michael’s departure. Victor suspects the Abbotts, calling Jack “brainless.” Nick and Jack agree to avoid conflict and discuss Dumas.

Later, Jack checks on Traci, who is writing about Martin. Harrison asks Claire for help with a gift for Nikki.

At Newman, Nikki shows Victoria Victor’s gift but worries he’s distracted. After Nikki leaves, Victor vents about Dumas and Kyle. Victoria warns him not to interfere with Claire and Kyle.
