At the Chancellor mansion, Abby and Devon deal with lingering rage and fear after Dominic’s ordeal. Abby, protective of her son, is not ready to forgive and is angered by the thought of Mariah near Dominic again. Devon tries to reason, noting a judge will decide Mariah’s fate, but Abby’s pain is about shattered trust, not just legal issues. When Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) apologizes in person, Abby makes it clear that forgiveness is not possible.
Speaking of Mariah, after entering a not guilty plea at her arraignment, Mariah is released on bail — but freedom comes with strict conditions. Wearing an ankle monitor and placed under Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) custody, she must now confront the emotional fallout of her breakdown.
Meanwhile, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) finds herself caught in an emotional storm. She still loves Mariah and understands the depth of her mental health struggles. But she’s also exhausted — and leaning on Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei)for support during this difficult chapter.
