The aftermath of Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) kidnapping continues to shake the Newman family. As details about Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) extreme plan come to light, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) finds herself struggling to accept what her husband did. Jack’s situation only deepens the divide between Victor and Nikki, pushing their already-strained marriage closer to the breaking point. While Victor stands firmly behind his actions, Nikki is left questioning whether she can forgive him for going so far.
Elsewhere, tensions flare at Crimson Lights when Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) confronts Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn). Concerned about Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and the safety of her children, Nate issues a stern warning. If anything happens to Lily or the twins, Nate makes it clear he will hold Cane responsible. Cane, already under immense pressure, doesn’t take the accusation lightly and quickly loses his temper during the heated exchange.
Meanwhile, Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) struggles to process what she saw on the yacht. After catching Jack with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk), Diane is devastated and furious. Unable to stay under the same roof as Jack, Diane makes a bold move and begins making changes to her living situation. As Jack tries to explain what really happened, Diane may decide she needs space to figure out what comes next.
