Matt comes back to Genoa City without any recollection of who he is. His mission is to uncover the answers he seeks. The Newmans and Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) know exactly who he is and remember the havoc he wreaked. Even more astonishing, Sienna thinks she was the one who killed him. What a surprise!

Elsewhere, Cane Ashby (BIlly Flynn) makes an important promise to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Despite all the legal drama and obstacles standing in his way, Cane vows he’ll still do whatever it takes to help Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore). Lily desperately wants to believe Cane will follow through, especially with Malcolm’s future hanging in the balance. However, with so much uncertainty surrounding Cane’s situation, keeping that promise may be easier said than done.

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) becomes increasingly troubled by Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) strange behavior. Although Nick tries to keep things under control, Phyllis quickly senses that something is seriously wrong. Nick may attempt to downplay his struggles, but his emotional state and physical condition raise major red flags. After everything Nick has been through recently, Phyllis fears he’s hiding something far more serious than he’s willing to admit.
