Phyllis turns her attention toward Patty and wastes no time reminding her exactly how much damage she’s caused over the years. Phyllis delivers a harsh history lesson about Patty’s troubled past and warns her that Genoa City will never fully trust her again. Phyllis may also make it clear that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is never going to give Patty the future she desperately wants.
After nearly losing his life, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is finally forced to confront the seriousness of his addiction battle. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) refuse to let Nick continue spiraling and push him to accept that he cannot overcome his problems alone. The terrifying overdose scare becomes a turning point for the entire Newman family as Victor and Nikki demand that Nick seek real help before it’s too late.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) grows deeply concerned when Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) seemingly disappears without explanation. Diane hasn’t shown up at work, hasn’t returned home, and hasn’t contacted anyone, leaving Kyle convinced something is seriously wrong. When Kyle shares the troubling news with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), fears immediately begin mounting that Diane may be in real danger.
