Date, Time & Location
The Daytime Emmys will return to the iconic Pasadena Civic Auditorium and stream live on Friday, October 17, 2025, beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET / 4:00 p.m. PT. The event is expected to run for three hours.
Unlike in past years, when the Creative Arts Emmy Awards were held separately to honor behind-the-scenes talent, this year’s telecast will combine all categories into one celebration, recognizing both those in front of and behind the camera.
How to Watch
This year’s ceremony will be available exclusively on watch.theemmys.tv and its associated apps. Despite some incorrect reports online, CBS will not broadcast the Daytime Emmys this year. The network, which has aired the show annually since 2020, is instead launching new Friday night dramas that evening. Additionally, the ceremony will not stream on Paramount+, as CBS has not renewed its broadcast agreement with NATAS.
The Nominees
Daytime’s biggest dramas are once again in the spotlight:
The Young and the Restless leads the pack with 19 nominations
General Hospital follows with 16 nominations
Days Of Our Lives earned 13 nominations
The Bold and the Beautiful picked up 4 nominations
Meanwhile, The Bay and Neighbours each scored a single nod.
In addition, the evening will honor veteran journalist Deborah Norville, who recently stepped down as anchor of Inside Edition after 30 years, with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.
Beyond the Gates Eligibility
While fans may be wondering why Beyond the Gates isn’t among this year’s nominees, the series wasn’t eligible. The eligibility window covered programming that aired in calendar year 2024. That means Beyond the Gates will instead be in contention at next year’s 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.
