‘Young And The Restless’ Alum Max Ehrich Arrested After Alleged Incident Involving His Mother

In a shocking turn of events, The Young and the Restless alum Max Ehrich — who once portrayed Fenmore Baldwin, the son of Michael and Lauren — has been arrested in Florida following an alleged altercation with his mother.

According to a TMZ report (here), police were called to Ehrich’s home Tuesday night after receiving a domestic violence report. The caller claimed that Ehrich had been live-streaming himself attacking his mother during a heated dispute.

Authorities say they found Ehrich’s mother at a neighbor’s house when they arrived. She reportedly told officers that her son had been abusing nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, and that he became violent after an argument over her phone. The police report states Ehrich allegedly chased her outside, pushed her to the ground, and kicked her in the thigh.

Thankfully, she did not suffer serious injuries, but officers say the incident was serious enough to warrant Ehrich’s arrest. After initially refusing to leave his home, he eventually complied and was taken into custody.

TMZ reports that Ehrich was booked for battery on a person 65 or older. He later posted $1,000 bond and was released on Wednesday.

Ehrich, who gained fame not only for his time on Y&R but also for roles in Under the Dome and High School Musical 3, as well as his high-profile engagement to singer Demi Lovato, has yet to make a public statement regarding the charges.
