Opening up about his addiction proves difficult for Nick, but he ultimately allows himself to be vulnerable as he reflects on the challenges he's faced and the work still ahead of him. Through it all, Nikki remains a steady source of encouragement.
Elsewhere, Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) confides in Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) about a personal decision that's weighing heavily on her mind. Stephanie may reveal that she's officially accepted the chief of staff position at Genoa City Memorial Hospital, but that doesn't mean all her concerns have disappeared. Although Holden Novak has assured Stephanie that he supports her decision to stay in Genoa City, she worries that he's simply telling her what she wants to hear.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) once again sends shockwaves through Genoa City when news of his latest business decision spreads. After reclaiming Newman Enterprises, Victor appears determined to make another bold move—one that could leave Nikki reeling. Victor may remind Nikki that Chancellor is no longer an option for her, having already decided to return the company to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
