Victor Newman has another business conquest in mind, but this time, Adam Newman isn't eager to carry out his father's plan.
YR: Adam Doesn't Want to Go After Sally as Victor Targets Spectra-Charles
Victor reveals that he intends to take over Spectra-Charles and put Adam in charge once the dust settles. For Victor, it's simply business. For Adam, however, the situation is much more complicated.
Adam immediately pushes back, making it clear that he doesn't want to go after Sally Spectra or the company she's worked so hard to build. Whether it's lingering feelings, respect for Sally's success, or a desire to avoid another personal and professional collision, Adam isn't as enthusiastic as Victor expected.
Victor has never been one to let emotions get in the way of business, and he may have a hard time understanding Adam's hesitation. If Victor moves forward with the takeover anyway, Adam could find himself forced to choose between loyalty to his father and doing what he believes is right.
Sally also isn't likely to sit back and let Spectra-Charles be taken from her without a fight. She's proven time and again that she's a determined businesswoman, and she'll undoubtedly defend the company she's worked so hard to lead.
Billy Abbott could also find himself caught in the middle. Although he insists Spectra-Charles is Sally's company to run, Victor's latest move may drag Billy back into a corporate battle he never wanted.
Victor is known for getting what he wants, but Adam's reluctance suggests this takeover won't be as straightforward as he imagined. If Adam refuses to play along, it could spark another Newman family showdown and give Sally the ally she least expected.
Will Adam stand up to Victor, or will he ultimately do what his father demands?
