Claire & Holden: Awkward Hugs, Unfinished Business

Claire and Holden unexpectedly meet at the coffee shop, sharing one of the most adorably awkward hugs in recent memory. Holden is surprised she's drinking coffee so late, but Claire explains she's working overtime to proofread a galley before it goes to print.

However, work isn't her only concern — she wants to discuss LA and what happened between them.

Holden suggests they could talk… or choose to “leave what happened in Hollywood in Hollywood.” But Claire can't just let it go. Her entire trip was about figuring out what she wants — and even back home, she's still searching.

She admits their LA adventures — sightseeing, clubbing, hitting the beach — felt liberating, especially with someone who made her feel safe and allowed her to be herself. What happened between them on Halloween wasn't planned… but she doesn't regret it.

Holden, trying to hide his disappointment, mentions he thought she’d end up back with Kyle after going to LA with him for Harrison. Claire shuts that down immediately — she's NOT getting back with Kyle… but she's also not ready for another relationship. And she's not sure she and Holden will be jumping back into bed anytime soon.

Holden respects her decision but senses her pulling away. He wonders if it's because he revealed his past with Audra. Claire asks if he regrets it — Holden says yes. He hopes opening up wasn't a mistake.

Claire presses: Is there something more Holden isn't telling her?

AUDRA ENTERS — and All Hell Breaks Loose

Just as things start to get serious, Audra enters the room and immediately stirs up trouble.

She smirks and questions whether Claire and Holden are now a couple, implying that Kyle “lost the girl of his dreams to a notorious player.”

Claire retorts, suggesting that L.A. was thrilling... but perhaps more so when Audra was around. She mocks the hookups at The Shadow Room and jabs that Victor must want his money back since Audra failed to seduce Kyle.

Audra claims that Kyle is obsessed with her.

Claire laughs and asks, “What do you call someone who gets paid to perform sexual acts?” Holden tries to intervene in the escalating situation, but the women ignore him.

Audra snaps at Claire, warning her to be cautious and vowing to do “whatever it takes” to silence her.

Claire calls her pathetic, pointing out that she has no job, no family, and no future.

Audra flicks Claire under the chin and hisses that Claire is “punching above her weight.”

Claire pushes her back and reminds her that she still hasn’t answered her question.

“What question?” Audra sneers.

Claire smirks. “You’ll find out soon enough… Everyone will.”
