Nick Calls Victor With Alarming News

Nick Newman contacts Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to convey news that he is struggling to comprehend himself. Nick informs Victor that Noah (Lucas Adams) left the hospital against medical advice, disregarded the guard, and vanished. To complicate matters, Nick discloses that Noah was involved in an affair with Sienna (Tamara Braun), the wife of the man they know as “Mitch Bacall” — who is, in reality, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). Victor is taken aback and immediately concerned. He reassures Nick that “Cane has been addressed,” but acknowledges that this development is a significantly larger issue.
Matt Clark Is Alive — And Responsible for Noah’s Crash
Nick discloses the unthinkable to Victor: He witnessed Matt Clark in person.
Victor is shocked, having thought Matt was “rotting in hell.” Nick explains that Noah’s incident wasn’t accidental. Matt is out for revenge against Nick and Sharon (Sharon Case), using their son as leverage. He has already taken on the identity of Mitch Bacall, and Noah’s connection with Sienna has clearly made him a target.
Victor Vows War: “Matt Clark Will End Up Behind Bars or Six Feet Under”
Victor is straightforward. He promises Michael Baldwin that Matt Clark will either be brought to justice or end up dead. Nick concurs. He tells Victor directly: Matt must die — they can't endure this once more.
Sharon Panics — What Has Matt Done to Noah and Sienna?
Sharon enters Nick’s suite, feeling anxious and frustrated because Noah ignored their warnings. Nick suggests that Matt probably found out about Noah's affair with Sienna, causing Sharon to worry that Matt might have kidnapped them both.
Nick argues that Noah isn’t technically “missing”… just absent. However, Sharon knows Matt too well. If he seeks revenge, he will ensure they endure hardship.
Nick Contacts Detective Burrow — But Sharon Smells a Trap
Nick decides it's time to confront Detective Burrow (Matt Cohen), informing him that Noah is missing and asking for a face-to-face meeting. Burrow agrees and provides a location. Sharon is immediately suspicious. She cautions Nick that Burrow might be trying to isolate him for something "nefarious." Nick acknowledges the detective's danger — but he needs Burrow to believe he is in control. Nick assures Sharon he will keep her informed... and heads out alone, potentially walking into an ambush.
