Phyllis + Cane? Yep… They’re Getting Cozy
Phyllis and Cane come strolling off the elevator all smiles, and of course Lily is right there to see it. Phyllis wastes no time letting Lily know they had a nightcap in her room. (Classic Phyllis.)
Phyllis says she and Cane have been getting closer since their trip to Nice and asks Lily if she’s jealous. Lily shoots back that she’s not jealous — just disappointed.
Cane tries to keep things civil and says he’s done his best to make things right for Lily and the kids. Phyllis jumps in again, essentially accusing Lily of wanting to ensure they have zero fun.
Lily finally tells Phyllis to shut up and drags Cane away. Cane asks her to meet for breakfast so he can run an idea by her — Lily says she’s “busy.”Translation: nope. Cane leaves with a very pleased-with-herself Phyllis.
Lily Hits the Bar, Holden Walks Right Into It
Lily goes for wine, and Holden shows up with a joke. She is NOT in the mood.
Then out of nowhere, she wants to talk — she asks if he’s still working for Cane. He tries to make small talk to dodge the question, but Lily isn’t buying it. She brings up Damian’s death and Cane’s involvement, and Holden says Cane didn’t kill him — his assistant did.
Lily asks what Holden does for Cane, and he explains. Then she drops a bomb on him: Arabesque is going out of business.
Holden has never heard this. Lily says not to take it personally — Cane keeps everyone in the dark. She tells Holden to pack up and go back to LA while he still can.
Holden can’t tell if she’s being helpful or just trying to push him out of town.
Audra Shows Up — and It Gets Messy Fast
Audra gets there just as Lily is on her way out. Lily cautions Holden that someone is working to sabotage Cane’s company from within, urging him to exit before the situation escalates.
Audra takes a seat next to Holden and promptly begins causing trouble by inquiring about Claire's whereabouts. Holden advises her to leave before Claire arrives, warning that if Audra continues to provoke, Claire might reveal her crime to the wrong individuals.
Audra hits him with: “Don’t you mean our crime?”
She’s worried Holden told Claire everything. He swears he only told the “first part” to control the damage. Audra thinks Claire would see both of them differently if she knew the whole truth. Holden agrees — they both have way too much to lose.
Claire Walks In and Has HAD ENOUGH
Claire comes in later and sees Holden alone — sweet moment — until she spots Audra casually sipping Holden’s drink.
Claire mutters, “Why won’t that bitch stay out of my life?”
She immediately calls Billy and says she has info on Audra and wants a meeting with him and Sally tomorrow.
Claire is DONE. Audra has no idea what’s coming.
