Matt Clark Is Done Playing Nice!

Detective James Burrow informs Nick and Adam about a wrecked car found 100 miles south of Genoa City with Matt Clark's fingerprints inside. Investigators also discovered blood and open front doors. Nick mentions Matt's claim of leaving town with Patty Williams, while Adam hopes they simply abandoned the car. Nick remains skeptical due to Matt's past.

Meanwhile, at the Riverbank Motel, Matt reflects on second chances and briefly wonders if Sharon might understand his desire to change. However, he concludes she would celebrate his demise. Realizing his attempt to be a hero has failed, Matt decides it's time for a new plan, which could spell trouble for Sharon.

Sharon Receives a Creepy Phone Call

At her cottage, Sharon receives a mysterious call with no voice on the other end. The caller hangs up, leaving her puzzled. Later, Nick arrives with news of Matt's wrecked vehicle, prompting Sharon to suspect Matt might be behind the strange call. She finds it hard to believe he would return after leaving Genoa City so dramatically, but Nick distrusts Matt completely. With Matt dropping his good-guy facade, Sharon has every reason to be concerned.

At the athletic club, Phyllis excitedly announces her ownership of the wedding venue, sharing her triumph with Billy, Sally, Audra, and Coco. Billy and Sally, however, remain focused on their wedding plans. Phyllis is surprised when Daniel joins her for a meal and suggests they work together, aiming to protect her from herself. Daniel confesses his love and how much he's missed her, leading to a joyful hug from Phyllis, hopeful for their renewed bond. Yet, the question remains whether mixing family and business will strengthen their relationship or lead to disaster.

Victoria and Kyle Put on a Show!

Victoria and Kyle are determined to keep their secret. Kyle suggests they act like enemies to mislead others. Victoria quickly implements the plan by proposing a Vibrante and Jabot social media feud at the Newman ranch. Nikki agrees, unaware of Victoria's true motives. Victoria convincingly complains about Kyle to make their rivalry believable. Meanwhile, Kyle tells a story at the Abbott mansion about a work crisis to explain his absence. Jack advises Kyle to balance work and personal life, unaware of his secret.
