During the latest episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) called Zende in for what turned out to be life-changing news. While praising Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) for the exceptional work he's continued to contribute from abroad, Ridge admitted that "Hope For The Future" needs a lead designer who can work on-site in Los Angeles.
That designer, according to Ridge, is Zende. The promotion leaves Zende stunned. After years of trying to prove himself at Forrester Creations, he's officially been named the new Lead Designer for the Hope For The Future fashion line. Needless to say, Zende couldn't be happier. He's eager to dive into the role and is especially excited about the opportunity to collaborate with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) once again. From his perspective, it feels like everything is finally falling into place.
Unfortunately, viewers know there's one enormous problem. Unbeknownst to Ridge, Eric Forrester (John McCook), Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), or the rest of the Forrester family, Hope has already left Forrester Creations to join Logan. That means the very person Zende believes he'll be partnering with is no longer there.
The timing couldn't be worse. As Zende prepares to begin his new position, he's walking straight into a shocking reality that could completely derail his excitement. Once the truth comes out, Ridge and the Forresters will have to scramble to figure out what comes next for Hope For The Future.
Will Zende remain loyal to Forrester Creations despite Hope's departure? Or could this unexpected twist push him toward Logan instead?
