The actress and producer took to Instagram link here to share her excitement after The Hollywood Reporter link here broke the news about her latest project with Lifetime.

Ashley Jones Has A Reason To Celebrate
The network has set consecutive debuts for Saturdays in September for (working title) A Husband to Die For: The Lisa Aguilar Story starring Keana Lyn Bastidas, Jon McLaren and veteran star Marilu Henner on Sept. 13; The Girl Who Survived: The Alina Thompson starring Sam Trammell, Ashley Jones, Brielle Robillard and Steve Byers on Sept. 20; and I Was a Child Bride: the Courtney Stodden Story starring Holly J. Barrett as Stodden, Doug Savant as her actor husband Doug Hutchinson, and Maggie Lawson as Stodden’s mother, Krista, on Sept. 27.
According to Jones, the project is an '80s period true-crime film — a passion project that she and her producing partner, Pierre David, have nurtured from the ground up.
“We took it to @lifetimetv over a year ago. I really thought this could be special. And here we are! Very proud to have produced this one with an amazing team,” she shared.
She went on to thank the many people involved in bringing the film to life, including @ponzoroff, @megelizhoops, @michelleouellet, @christineconradt, @lifetimetvpr, @brandobasslo, @samtrammellofficial, @thestevebyers, @brielle_robillard, and the entire cast and crew.
Jones wrapped up her post by teasing fans with, “♥️❤️ more to come!!”
Fans know Ashley Jones best from her beloved roles on The Bold and the Beautiful and General Hospital, but this new producing role marks an exciting new chapter in her career.
