Bold Recap For Thursday, October 23rd, 2025: Therapy, Trust, And Trouble
At Taylor’s office, emotions ran high as Taylor Hayes asked Deacon Sharpe a question he didn’t seem ready to answer: Can you ever really trust Sheila Carter again?
When Deacon hesitated, Taylor didn’t need to hear words — she already knew. The good doctor suggested that what Deacon and Sheila share isn’t love but a trauma bond that’s tipping toward codependency.
Taylor didn’t hold back, reminding Deacon of Sheila’s long list of misdeeds. “You think I should leave her, don’t you?” he asked. Taylor didn’t reply directly — but her message was clear:
“Your heart hasn’t failed you yet. Listen to it.”
After his therapy session, Deacon perked up when he saw “the fruit of my loins” — his son, Deke. Deke came by for free pizza and fatherly wisdom, but instead, he got a dose of Deacon’s heartbreak. Even Deke admitted he wanted his dad to leave Sheila, though he hated seeing Deacon so down.
Despite everything, Deacon couldn’t help but praise Taylor, saying, “I’m very lucky to have her in my life.” Could Taylor be the one to finally help Deacon break free from Sheila’s grip — or is he too far gone?
