Days Of Our Lives Has Recast Rachel Black
According to Soap Opera Digest, the Peacock daytime drama has recast the role of Rachel Black, the daughter of Brady Black and Kristen DiMera. Lorelei Olivia Mote is set to step into the role beginning the week of March 16, 2026, marking her debut on the long-running soap.
Mote replaces Alice Halsey, who portrayed Rachel from April 2025 through March 2026. During her time in the role, Halsey helped bring to life Rachel’s complicated dynamic with her parents, Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), as the young character remained at the center of some of Salem’s most emotionally charged family moments.
Although this will be Mote’s first appearance in daytime television, she already has an impressive list of credits in primetime and film. Her previous work includes roles in the series American Horror Stories and Daisy Jones & the Six, along with appearances in films such as Riddle of Fire and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.
Rachel Black has become an increasingly important presence on Days of Our Lives, particularly amid the ongoing drama between Brady and Kristen. With a new actress now stepping into the role, viewers will soon see how Lorelei Olivia Mote brings her own take to the fiery and often unpredictable young DiMera.
Fans can catch Mote’s first episodes as Rachel beginning the week of March 16 on Days of Our Lives, streaming exclusively on Peacock.
