The Social Worker’s Visit Turns Ugly

The social worker arrives early for the couple’s home visit and wastes no time delivering shocking news. She reads aloud a letter she claims was written by the baby’s birth mother, accusing Johnny and Chanel of being unfit and undeserving parents.

The letter goes further, alleging that Johnny is having an inappropriate relationship with one of his film students. Johnny flatly denies the claim.

But the visit takes a disastrous turn when, at the same moment, Sophia sends Johnny a scandalous photo of Holly. Johnny quickly hides his phone, but the social worker presses him to hand it over.

A Damning Discovery

Reluctantly, Johnny complies, and the social worker finds the picture. Chanel immediately asks if the woman in the photo is Holly (though, as viewers may note, the shot only reveals a portion of her chest). Johnny insists he has no idea.

With that, the social worker abruptly ends the visit, saying the home inspection is over.

Chanel’s Heartbreak

Johnny tries to reassure Chanel, swearing that Holly is nothing more than a student and that he’s being set up. But Chanel is shattered. “The only thing I believe is you just crushed my dream,” she tells him. “You ruined everything.”

Sophia’s Panic

Meanwhile, Sophia realizes she may have made a huge mistake. After sending the photo, she learns that Holly was actually in the hospital at the time. That revelation leaves Sophia rattled, knowing Holly couldn’t have been the one who sent the picture to Johnny.
