The casting change comes just a few months after Nathan Dean made a brief return to Port Charles following a six-year absence. His final appearance as Ethan aired on Friday, July 17, bringing his latest stint to a close before the role was handed over to Howard.
Howard is no stranger to television and action fans. Born on May 4, 1984, in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, England, the actor, writer, and martial artist is best known for portraying Ken Masters in the acclaimed web series Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist (2014) and Street Fighter: Resurrection (2016).
While Howard is making his General Hospital debut, fans are eager to see what he'll bring to Ethan, the adventurous son of Luke Spencer and Holly Sutton. Ethan's recent return has already stirred up plenty of drama, including reconnecting with old friends and family members in Port Charles.
With a new face now playing Ethan, viewers will be watching closely to see how Howard puts his own stamp on the beloved character and where Ethan's latest storyline heads next.
