Paulina reassures Chanel, explaining that she did not minimize Johnny's feelings but rather advised him against undermining his marriage. She is confident that Johnny's emotional turmoil is only temporary.
Meanwhile, Paulina goes to Johnny at the DiMera Mansion and urges Johnny to fight for his marriage and not let EJ steal his joy or control his future.
Johnny and Chanel cross paths in Horton Square, but instead of engaging in conversation, Chanel quickly enters Sweet Bits, unable to face him.
Disregarding medical advice, EJ discharges himself from the hospital. Once home, he quickly uploads the memory card he took from Rafe’s recorder. Stunned by what he sees, EJ murmurs, “Oh, Giovanni, no.”
Leo walks into the kitchen and runs into Gabi. He suspects her of shooting EJ, but Gabi denies the accusation and points the finger at Ava. Still doubtful, Leo watches as Gabi departs. He tries to rummage through her purse but is caught by Gabi.
Cat and Felicity run into Chad, and everything is friendly and lighthearted... until the topic shifts to the notorious auction. Who was her highest bidder? None other than EJ DiMera himself!

Xander and Alex start collaborating. Xander has been misled by Philip, and this betrayal also affects Alex's relationship with Stephanie. Expect Xander and Alex to join forces, possibly to remove Philip.
