After 40 years of calling CBS Television City his “home away from home,” The Bold and the Beautiful star Don Diamont (Bill Spencer) shared a touching farewell to the iconic studio that has been the backdrop for countless unforgettable moments in television history.

Taking to Instagram, Diamont posted a carousel of his first and most recent appearances at Television City, writing:

“This was the first Monday in 40 years that I woke up with CBS Television City not being my home away from home. @bbheathertom and I shot our last scenes together on Stage 31 last Wednesday. This is an iconic building, and if you research its history and what was shot inside its walls, you will fully appreciate how iconic it is.”

Diamont reflected on the legendary legacy of the space, even noting that Elvis Presley filmed his first Ed Sullivan Show appearance there, a personal favorite moment of his.

But times are changing. Under new ownership, CBS Television City has undergone significant transitions that have impacted long-running productions like The Bold and the Beautiful. The result? A relocation to Sunset Las Palmas Studios — another historic venue dating back to 1919.

Diamont acknowledged the bittersweet goodbye but ended on a hopeful note:

“Thank you for EVERYTHING TV City. I will miss you, and you will always hold a very special place in my heart! Sunset Las Palmas…, I can’t wait to meet you, and look forward to B&B moving ONWARD AND UPWARD!!! 🙏🏻❤️”

As B&B embarks on this new chapter, longtime fans are likely to feel the nostalgia too. Television City wasn’t just a building; it was the heart of daytime drama for decades.
