The Daytime Emmy winner, best known for playing Michael Corinthos, announced on Instagram that he's releasing music under the name Duelly, revealing that creating music has been a longtime dream that he finally decided to pursue.
In a heartfelt message to fans, Duell admitted he had always wanted to make music but felt overwhelmed by the technical side of producing tracks. A few months ago, however, he decided to stop putting it off and dive in.
Since then, he's spent countless hours learning, experimenting, and developing a sound he says he's genuinely proud of.
His debut release, "If You Need Me," leans into a dance/EDM style, though Duell teased that he's been creating music across multiple genres behind the scenes. Rather than waiting for perfection, he chose to start sharing his work and grow along the way.
"My first track 'If You Need Me' is out now... More coming soon... this is just the beginning."
The song is now available on streaming platforms, with Duell credited as the performer, songwriter, composer, lyricist, and beatmaker.
