Ric arrives with surprising news: he’s trying to mend fences with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) — and maybe it’s time to do the same with Alexis.
Also, Ric reveals that everything was in place — the terms were solid, the paperwork was moving — so something happened behind the scenes to derail it. Lulu (Alexa Havins Bruening) vents to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and may push her to ask Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) for help. Brennan has a history of “fixing” things for Carly’s loved ones… but involving him could make everything even messier.
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) have a tense discussion. Portia fears Curtis might want to stay together just for the baby, which she dislikes. Curtis surprises her by suggesting Stella Henry’s (Vernee Watson) comments affected him. Portia doubts Curtis is truly over Jordan and hesitates at being his second choice.
Things escalate quickly when Laura Collins (Genie Francis) loses all composure in a very public way. Onlookers record her with their phones. Laura corners Dalton and accuses him outright of lying. She knows he fed ADA Turner bogus evidence — and Laura isn’t holding back.
