GH and Y&R Alum Brytni Sarpy Is Calling Days of Our Lives Home
The Days of Our Lives social media account announced on August 24, 2026, that the former General Hospital and The Young and the Restless actress is joining the Peacock soap.
“Someone new is checking into Salem… Welcome Brytni Sarpy to the Days of Our Lives family! Stay tuned,” the show teased.
For now, Days is keeping the details under wraps. Sarpy’s character and first airdate have not yet been revealed, leaving fans to speculate about who she’ll play and which Salem residents will be drawn into her storyline.
Sarpy made her daytime debut on General Hospital in 2015 as Valerie Spencer, the niece of Luke and Bobbie Spencer. She remained with the ABC soap until 2019, when she joined The Young and the Restless as Dr. Elena Dawson. Her last appearance on the CBS soap came in 2024.
Now, Sarpy is adding another daytime drama to her résumé—and Salem may never be the same!
