Fans of The Young and the Restless can officially mark their calendars — Mishael Morgan is heading back to Genoa City as Amanda Sinclair, and her return is just around the corner. According to a TVInsider Exclusive, the Emmy-winning actress will reappear on the canvas starting May 16, 2025.
Mishael Morgan’s Airdate Revealed
The news was first announced on March 27th by Daytime Soap Stop, and fans have been speculating ever since about what might bring Amanda back to the drama-filled world of GC. As it turns out, Morgan didn’t need much convincing to reprise her role.
“They didn’t really tell me much about what Amanda would be doing,” Morgan admitted. “But they said, ‘We’d love to bring Amanda back to Genoa City. There’s a great storyline that we want her to be a part of.’” Having just wrapped the Hearts Around the Table Hallmark film series, the timing felt right. “I think this might be the perfect time to get back to L.A. and get away from all of the horrible weather in Toronto. Let’s do it!”
So, what exactly brings the legal eagle back to town? While details remain under wraps, Morgan teased that Amanda will once again be representing someone powerful — and possibly dangerous. “She’s always representing somebody, and she represents high-powered people in society,” Morgan said. “So, Amanda’s coming back to represent somebody very mysterious, definitely high-powered, and she’s going to make some waves while she’s there.”
Could her new client be Aristotle Dumas, the enigmatic and influential figure who’s recently stirred curiosity in Genoa City? That’s still a mystery, but one thing is certain — Amanda’s return promises to shake things up.
