It began with maximum overdrive—Xander confronting Philip after Vivian (Louise Sorel) revealed that the letter concerning Victor was a forgery. The pain. The betrayal. The fury. But that wasn't the end of it.

What followed was even more impactful. Amidst suppressed emotions and untold history, barriers fell. "You do belong, Xander," Philip says with genuine sincerity. That moment—unanticipated, vulnerable, authentic—meant everything.

Philip confesses to having lied, but insists he never laughed at Xander. In fact, he genuinely enjoyed collaborating with him. It felt as if, for a brief time, he had his family back.

Two imperfect men, bound by sorrow, heritage, and a desire for connection, delivered one of the week's most impactful scenes.
