Daytime veteran Tamara Braun is heading to Genoa City!
Tamara Braun Joins The Young And The Restless!
According to People, the Emmy-winning actress will make her debut on The Young and the Restless this fall in a brand-new role: Sienna Bacall, a character with “personal connections to several characters” on the canvas.
Braun is set to start taping next week, and fans are already buzzing about how her character will shake things up in Genoa City.
No stranger to daytime drama, Braun first made waves in 2001 when she joined General Hospital as Carly Corinthos, a role she played until 2005, later returning for a special anniversary episode in 2014. From 2017 to 2019, she played Dr. Kim Nero on GH, a performance that earned her a Daytime Emmy Award in 2020 for Outstanding Supporting Actress.
Braun has also had a memorable run as Ava Vitali on Days of Our Lives from 2008 through 2025, and she portrayed Reese Williams on All My Children from 2008 to 2009. She previously won her first Emmy in 2009 for her powerhouse performance as Ava.
With such a storied soap career, fans can’t wait to see what Braun brings to her newest role on Y&R. Could Sienna Bacall be a friend, a foe, or a little bit of both?
