Taylor believes it’s time Brooke moved on from Ridge and sees Nick as the perfect candidate. After all, he shares history with Brooke and has recently resurfaced at a time when she could use a fresh start. In Taylor’s eyes, Ridge is moving forward, so why shouldn’t Brooke?
But Taylor may have underestimated Brooke’s lingering feelings. Ever since Ridge walked in on that steamy moment between Brooke and Nick, Brooke has noticed his reaction—and she’s not so sure it was just “protectiveness.” Ridge’s jealousy may have been subtle, but it wasn’t lost on her.
Taylor’s well-meaning attempt to redirect Brooke’s romantic energy is bound to backfire when Brooke questions her motives—and Ridge’s. The two women will engage in a tense conversation, where Brooke raises the idea that maybe Ridge isn’t as over her as Taylor wants to believe.
