Kyle assures Jack he can handle Jabot while Jack and Diane attend Dumas’ party.

At the Abbott mansion: Kyle tells Jack not to worry about Jabot while he and Diane go to the Dumas party. When Diane shows up, she and Jack ask Kyle about his arrangement with Victor, but Kyle keeps quiet, saying everything's under control. Later, Kyle shares that Claire told him Cole was transferred to a hospital in Chicago specializing in pneumonia, thanks to Victor. Diane thinks Victor might be trying to drive a wedge between Kyle and Claire.
At the GCAC:Holden catches Audra talking to Victor about a plan to mess with Kyle, so he calls her out for trying to ruin things between Kyle and Claire. She brushes off his claims. When Kyle shows up, there's a bit of flirting going on between him and Audra. She pitches this idea of a "perfume competition" at the Dumas party to stir up some excitement and asks Kyle to be her date, but he turns her down for now. Later, Victor gives Audra a heads-up that she better deliver results or else.
Elsewhere at the GCAC: Jack and Diane run into Victor, who tells them not to go to the Dumas event. Victor says that Dumas only sees him as a real challenge and warns Jack and Diane to steer clear of Dumas's plans.
At Crimson Lights: Damian gifts Lily a jazz history book, which is a sweet gesture that takes her back to memories of her late dad, Neil, who had the exact same book. They chat about bringing Holden on board at Winters, but Damian isn’t too sure about working with him. Holden overhears this and blows up at Damian, thinking their friendship is done for.
