At the GCAC, tensions rose when Phyllis attempted to get her son Daniel a position at Abbott Communications, but Billy refused. Although he acknowledges Phyllis's desire to heal through work, Billy thinks Daniel should make his own decisions. Later, Sally bluntly tells Billy that Phyllis is a loose cannon and advises him to sever ties with her before she jeopardizes the company.

Billy oversteps boundaries to emphasize his point. Phyllis visits Billy, unaware that Daniel has different intentions and only requires time to persuade him to join Abbott Communications. Billy is not agreeable to this and is likely to issue an ultimatum.
Nate and Damian get an update on Amy's condition. She's fighting hard, and it shows, but challenging times are expected ahead, and the family will be there for support.
Holden keeps Audra attentive. Holden's sense of being underappreciated will surface, prompting him to seek a change. Remember, Audra had assured him that she would remain his friend. Unfortunately, Audra will not be worried and will carry on with her life.
