With great difficulty, Adam (Mark Grossman) finally makes his way to Cane’s (Billy Flynn) chateau in France. There, Adam shares vital information with Victor (Eric Braeden) — the mustache himself — about Cane’s surprising presence in Genoa City and Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) unexpected encounter with him.
Meanwhile, back in Genoa City, Nikki (Melody Scott Thomas) can’t shake her concern over Cane’s true motives. It’s clear that Cane wants Chancellor Industries, but Nikki refuses to back down. At the same time, she worries that Victor may be provoking Cane into making an even bolder move than anyone expects.
As always, Victor remains one step ahead. He’s fully aware of Cane’s ambitions and is even impressed by just how far Cane is willing to go. But the question remains — how far will Cane push things? Expect Victor to throw out a tantalizing “what if” that could ignite the next phase of this power struggle.
