Jack has a tense encounter with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) after the damaging exposé on Jabot is released by Newman Media. Despite not being the author of the article, Chelsea becomes a target of Jack's frustration. He challenges her commitment to upholding ethical standards. Jack's ire extends to Adam as well, whom he accuses of merely acting as a pawn for Victor.
Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) sends an SOS, hoping Summer (last played by Allison Lanier) can help navigate family dynamics, speak to Phyllis about her new Abbott alliance, or even appeal directly to Victor in hopes of getting him to stand down.
With the Abbotts implementing a new strategy, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) seeks to persuade Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to formally become part of Team Jabot. Due to Phyllis' increasing dissatisfaction with her trust in Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), she is open to considering Billy's proposal.
