Victor and Nikki decide it's time to try a fresh start after days of conflict. While that doesn't necessarily mean all is forgiven, the longtime couple may agree to put aside their latest disagreements for the sake of their family. Nikki has made it clear she wants Victor to show genuine remorse for bringing Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) back to Genoa City, a decision that led to Jack Abbott's (Peter Bergman) stabbing and Diane Jenkins Abbott's (Susan Walters) kidnapping. Whether Victor is willing to apologize remains to be seen, but both may recognize that constant fighting won't help either of them move forward.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) grow increasingly concerned about Devon Hamilton Winters (Bryton James). Devon's emotions have been running high ever since the shocking kidnapping involving Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and the trauma it caused those closest to him. His unresolved anger threatens to boil over once again, leaving Lily and Nate worried about what he might do next.
Elsewhere, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) finds himself at the center of fresh conflict with Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) and Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun). Although Matt has been trying to turn his life around, something he says or does unintentionally triggers Noah, reigniting tensions between the two men. The awkward encounter could also create new problems for Noah and Sienna as they struggle to move past old wounds.
