At Jordan's (Tanisha Harper), Curtis came to the realization that he hadn't allowed Jordan, who was his wife then, the opportunity to repair their marriage. Fast-forward to the present, he wishes to begin anew, but Jordan delivers shocking news... Portia (Brook Kerr) is pregnant! Curtis is stunned by the unexpected revelation; it might be his friend, Laura, who offers him comfort. Meanwhile, Ava (Maura West) contacts Portia, potentially viewing this pregnancy surprise as a chance to benefit herself.
