Brook Lynn and Chase have plenty to celebrate as they move one step closer to expanding their family. After overcoming several obstacles, the couple embraces a significant milestone that brings them closer to officially adopting Phoebe.

Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) receives some blunt advice after questioning whether she's making the right decision. With pressure mounting over Simon's (Grady Eldridge) proposal to market her and Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) as a couple, Trina turns to someone she trusts for guidance. The conversation may not be what she wants to hear, but it could help shape her next move.

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) hopes Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) can help convince Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to rethink her dangerous WSB career. Instead, Michael refuses to pressure his sister. While he worries about the risks Josslyn faces, he ultimately supports her right to make her own decisions. Carly's strategy backfires, leaving her frustrated as her attempt to sway Michael produces the exact opposite result.

Speaking of Michael, he can't ignore the uncertainty surrounding the people he loves. Between Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), Josslyn's dangerous WSB involvement, and the ongoing family turmoil, Michael begins questioning what the future holds. He wants to protect his family, but some battles may be beyond his control.

As Curtis Ashford's (Donnell Turner) trial approaches, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) hopes to ease tensions. Curtis, however, isn't convinced peace is possible, especially when it comes to Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson). Despite Portia's efforts to calm the situation, Curtis remains guarded and prepares for whatever comes next.
