Sonny confronts Ava Jerome (Maura West), hoping to get answers about Ethan Lovett's (Christian Howard) sudden disappearance. Although Ava keeps Ethan's phone call and baby secret to herself, she doesn't hesitate to blame Sonny for the situation. During the confrontation, Ava has a breakthrough idea that could inspire her to form an unexpected alliance.
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) finally gets his day in court. Although Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has offered testimony that could help clear Curtis, lingering doubts remain. Curtis still isn't convinced Drew's motives are entirely selfless, despite Martin Grey's (Michael E. Knight) belief that Drew is genuinely trying to make amends.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton) should be celebrating life with newly adopted Phoebe, but instead she's burdened by a difficult choice. As the truth about the hit-and-run threatens to surface, Brook Lynn must decide whether protecting her family means making a painful sacrifice. Whatever she chooses could have major consequences for the Quartermaines.
Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Serena Baldwin (Kelly Krueger) put their heads together and begin plotting their next move. The duo believes they've found an opportunity worth pursuing, and their latest scheme could draw Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) into the middle of the action. Whether their plan succeeds remains to be seen, but Lucy rarely plays it safe.
