A Familiar Face at North Salem Elementary
Jeremy wastes no time reconnecting with his loved ones, stopping by to see Julie and Chad. He proudly announces that he’s now a teacher and will be subbing at North Salem Elementary School. When Chad asks which grade, Jeremy reveals it’s fifth, leaving Julie stunned to realize he’ll be Thomas’s teacher.
Stephanie Opens Up to Alex
Elsewhere, Stephanie confides in Alex about her complicated and painful history with Jeremy. While she admits Jeremy never raised a hand against her, she reveals he was abusive in other ways, emotionally manipulative, controlling, and unpredictable.
Stephanie reflects that she often made excuses for his behavior, convincing herself that when things were good, they were really good. But when they were bad, they were devastatingly awful. Alex gently reminds Stephanie that none of what happened was her fault, giving her a sense of comfort she clearly needed.
