After surrendering Newman Enterprises, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) receives unexpected news of her own when Victor offers her what's left of Arabesque. Eager to share the development, Phyllis reaches out to Summer in hopes that this fresh start can pave the way toward forgiveness.
Elsewhere, Adam Newman continues keeping a close eye on Matt Clark. Although Matt has agreed to Victor's plan and is attempting to turn over a new leaf, Adam remains skeptical of his intentions. With Matt now living at the Newman Ranch and working under Victor's watchful eye, Adam may believe it's only a matter of time before trouble resurfaces.
